To commemorate the 200th release of the Basement Corner Emissions incarnation of the label we present 20 projects with 20 tracks of noise-oriented sounds based around the simple concept of violence. Neither celebratory nor condemnatory, we simply seek to represent the reality of its existence in our social constructs.

Huge thanks to all the artists who contributed, most of whom are relatively new to the BCE roster. I was amazed at the sheer quality of the tracks they passed on to me for the compilation, for which I will always be grateful to them for putting so much of their selves into the work for this.
