Failure, fear, anxiety, pain, loss, more pain, more fear, more pain. Hope is an hazy mirage one barely can't even see through the multiple layers of ashes and smoke, pain, alcohol vapours and blurred shadows, tears, blood and broken hearts which make our own mental beings the mess it is. EARTHFLESH dives deep in the c(o)urse of its 60th release since 2019 ; MENTAL RIFT being the very culminating deafening point in a long process dealing with failure and fear and loss and its subsequent mental disorder manifestations.

EARTHFLESH is Bruno Silvestre Favez. Recorded live at the Cubbyhole, Geneva, Switzerland, between June 2021 and September 2023. Edited, mixed and reprocessed in the first days of October 2023. Released November 29th 2023 courtesy of Basement Corner Emissions (BCE1008) and Short Run Industries (SR009). "Mental Rift" introductory sample features elements extracted from "The Shining" movie by Stanley Kubrick (1980). "Dormant Realms" released originally in an alternate version, November 2nd 2023 as part of the Basement Corner Emissions "#1000" compilation. "The Night the Trees fell from the Sky" originally released September 3rd 2021 as part of the Sixth World Music community "Behold a Fail Horse" compilation.
